CaptionX is an auto-captioning tool for video, available to use within your browser and also as a plugin inside Adobe Premiere Pro. You simply drop in an MP4 or MOV file (up to 10 minutes for the web version), and it uses AI to transcribe your speech with word-level timing in over 100 languages, including right-to-left scripts like Arabic and Hebrew, before grouping it into clean, readable caption lines automatically.
You can pick from a handful of animated, scroll-stopping caption styles, tweak the color, size, position and animation to fit your brand, then review and edit the auto-generated text before exporting. The Premiere Pro plugin also syncs captions straight to your timeline and includes a handy silence-removal feature to trim dead air.
