LightPDF is an online PDF toolkit that covers most of what you’d want to do with a document, from editing text and converting files to signing, merging, splitting and running OCR on scans. Its AI add-ons go a step further, letting you chat with a PDF, summarize it, translate it, pull data into Excel, remove watermarks or generate new documents and slides. To get started, open the web app, upload a file, pick the tool you need and download the result.
LightPDF is also available to download for Windows and Mac, apps for iOS and Android, and has a Chrome/Edge extension. The free plan is web only, with a 10MB file limit and a few daily AI uses, which is enough for the occasional quick job. Paid plans unlock unlimited file sizes, batch processing, watermark-free downloads and additional AI credits.
