Tavrn is a medical record retrieval service that does the chasing for you. You tell it which patient and which providers you need records from, and it requests, follows up on and delivers medical records, bills and imaging from providers across the US. It’s aimed mostly at personal injury law firms, but hospitals, clinics, health tech companies and AI agents can use it too. You can start a request from inside tools like Clio, Litify, SmartAdvocate, Smokeball, SharePoint or Dropbox, from the Tavrn app, or through its REST API.
Tavrn then contacts each one by fax, portal, mail, email or phone, follows up every 48 hours and shows live status for each provider. The finished records are filed by provider and date of service. Developers can also try the API in the sandbox before committing.
