Midjourney

Midjourney has been surging in popularity lately, and for good reason too! It is regarded as one of the most impressive AI image generators to date. If creativity and art are your styles, Midjourney is bound to impress. If you’re not sure how to use Midjourney, feel free to check out our beginners Midjourney Guide.

The Midjourney image generator has a very distinct style, it can almost be described as a “non-fiction” image generator. In that, if you’re looking for creative sci-fi or artistic images you can get some great results with it. If, on the other hand you are looking for more photorealistic images, you might have difficulty achieving those results with Midjourney.

Midjourney can be accessed via their Discord server here: discord.com/invite/midjourney. Unfortunately this is currently the only way to use their image generator. Upon signing up with Midjourney you be granted a free trial which lets you generate up to 25 AI images.

After you’ve used up your free trial images, you’ll need to purchase a subscription plan to continue using Midjourney. The basic membership starts at $10/month, with standard membership costing $30/month. There is also a corporate plan available for enterprise use, this costs $600/year which while expensive compared to other generators out there, it can be worth it if you know you’re going to be using Midjourney for commercial use.

It is important to note that using the upscale and variation features will also count as a generated image. Be mindful of this if you are using the free trial as you only get 25 generations.

After 25 images, you’ll receive a message saying “Your free trial has come to an end” and you will either need to purchase membership or create a new Discord account.
