Harden is a local security layer for AI coding agents that checks tool calls before they’re allowed to run. Instead of just watching for suspicious activity after the fact, AIF sits between your coding agent and the actions it wants to take, using a purpose-trained model to decide whether each action fits within the task you actually gave it.
To get started, you install AIF locally, connect it to your existing coding agent, and it runs quietly in the background, checking actions in real time and logging decisions (Allow, Block, Ask, Redact, or Log only) that you can review through a local dashboard. Harden is available completely free for individual developers.
