Did anyone else just get logged out of ChatGPT and is now unable to log back in? It appears so many people are using ChatGPT today that OpenAI’s servers can’t handle us all! If you visit the website now, it might show the following message:
Along with a neat AI generated poem/rap about ChatGPT’s downtime, you can also register your email to receive an update when the service comes back online. This is probably the only thing we can do for now, hopefully OpenAI will increase their server capacities soon as ChatGPT has truly blown up in popularity this week.
It is slightly annoying that ChatGPT tends to log you out randomly, and if this happens then good luck getting back in. I did manage to get on briefly about an hour ago, and the first thing I decided to ask it was “Why is ChatGPT at capacity right now?”, here’s the response:

It’s understandable so many people are using the tool right now since it went viral across pretty much all social media platforms, with any luck we can hope will be back online by today.
